Sure enough, as soon as the Empress took off her phoenix robe, the Sea Enchanted Beast no longer paid any attention to her. It screamed as it lunged on the phoenix robe and clawed it violently into pieces.

That damn Sea Enchanted Beast!

The Empress was anxious and angry. Her phoenix robe was ruined, and she had nothing else to wear. How would she appear in public?

Simultaneously, the Empress inadvertently glanced at Darry, and she noticed that he was staring at her. She was ashamed and angry, so she yelled, “You dog! Shut your eyes!”

‘A dog?’

Darry saw red.

‘I’m here to save you, yet you called me a dog?’

However, Darryl did not refute her; he looked at the Empress with a smile. “Your Majesty, if I close my eyes, how can I deal with the Sea Enchanted Beast?”

When he said that, he deliberately gave the Empress an up and down stare.

“You—”

The Empress blushed, and she stamped her feet with anger, but she had nothing more to say.

Darryl was right. The Sea Enchanted Beast had gone crazy; if he were to close his eyes, he would not be able to deal with it.

Darryl wanted to laugh.

He felt good after he made that comeback at the Empress. After he took a few more glances at the Empress, he struck the Sea Enchanted Beast’s huge head with a backhand movement. The beast screamed, and its huge body crashed to the ground!

Darryl had stabbed the creature twice with his Heavenly Halberd, and it was already seriously injured. It was at the end of its tether before it finally crumbled after the final blow!

“Darryl!”

The Empress realized something and stomped her feet angrily. She yelled at Darryl. “What’s the matter with you? Did you do it on purpose? The Sea Enchanted Beast was dying, yet you told me to remove my phoenix robe?”

The Empress’s beautiful face was flushed red! How dared he played a trick on her!

Darryl smiled helplessly. “Your Majesty, you have misunderstood me. How would I know that the Sea Enchanted Beast was dying? Didn’t I ask you to take the phoenix robe off for your own safety?”

Darryl chuckled.

He was surprised that the Internal Alchemy Elixir could get rid of the poisonous mist.

Darryl was pleasantly surprised and delighted.

“Darryl! Mother Empress!”

After the poisonous mist dissipated, Yvette could finally look into the cave. She shouted because she was worried about the situation there.

Then, she was thrown aback when she realized that the Empress was only in her innerwear. “Mother Empress, what happened to your phoenix robe?”

Yvette quickly approached her mother.

The Sea Enchanted Beast had sent her outside the cave during the attack. She could not get back into the cave because of the poisonous mist. So, she did not hesitate to reach out to her mother when the mist cleared, especially when the Empress was caught in an awkward situation.

Phew!

Yvette breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed that the Empress was not injured, but her phoenix robe had been torn into bits.
