“The copyright belonged to her, but her publisher sold it behind her back.I got this role for you so that she would see you in a good light.If you don't want it, I'll—”

“I'll take it!” James immediately agreed.

Daisie informed Shannon about the news and then happily returned to her room.

She saw Freyja sitting in front of the computer with a serious expression while deep in thought.She finally looked up when Daisie walked in.

Her heart dropped.

“Is he angry?’ Daisie immediately rushed to Taylorton.

She got out of the car and ran straight to the living room.

Nollace sat cross-legged on the couch, staring at his screen.His expression was neutral.He sipped his coffee, looked at Daisie, and then paused.

“You're back early.” Daisie took a deep breath, walked forward, and closed his laptop.

“Nolly, don't trust what they're saying on the trending news!” Nollace was surprised.

He smiled after seeing how anxious she was.
