Chapter 2790
Margot Patel clearly understood that fact.
She knew full well that Marcel York would have no way to deal with the situation if he showed up himself.
“You’re forcing his hand!” exclaimed Margot coldly.
Vince York shook his head.
“That’s not true, Secretary Patel!
“Why would I even do that?
“I always treat Lord York with respect and loyalty! We don’t mean any harm!
“I’m only sad I let him down because of my improper teaching to my juniors! All this happened because of me!
“I only hope that they don’t get punished because of this! This is my fault!
“We got the Law Enforcement of the Yorks to handle Julian York’s incident. They’ll give you a fair statement soon enough,” said Margot indifferently.
“As for your punishment and involvement in the situation, I have no say, nor does Lord York. Only the Law Enforcement does!
“But why are you here trying to force his hand by asking for punishment?!
“What’s your purpose here?!” Margot was not stupid either. She glared at Vince as if she could read him like an open book.
“You know full well if you’re just putting up a show or have other motives to do something like this.
“There’s no need for me to point that out for you. Right?
“That’s why you should just leave, Young Lord York.”
Vince smiled before showing a serious expression.
“No matter the case, I’m only asking to see Lord York!” said Vince joyfully.
“If he doesn’t come out, I’ll kneel here for three days straight!
“If he doesn’t punish me, I’ll punish myself! “Only then will this serve as a lesson! From today onward, similar mistakes will not be made!
“If Lord York doesn’t punish us, we’ll also punish ourselves!” the other young people said in unison after hearing Vince’s words. Margot was showing a horrible expression. Vince was obviously causing chaos to his superiors at this moment.
But the situation was just too hard to deal with.
Marcel would be in big trouble no matter what he did.
Right when Margot was about to dial Marcel’s number to report the situation, Harvey showed a warm smile as he walked out of the entrance. He calmly walked toward Vince and looked down on him with a perplexed look.
“We’ve only met for a few days, Young Lord York, but there’s no need to send me such a hefty gift! “You’re making it hard for me here!
“How about this? I’ll do you one better!”
