The Supreme Harvey York novel Chapter 2569

Chapter 2569

Harvey, who was sleeping soundly in the presidential suite of Three Seasons Hotel, was awakened once more by a sudden knock on the door the first thing the next day.

He glanced at his watch, and then reluctantly went to open the door. When he saw the neatly dressed Leslie at the door, he sighed. “Ms. Clarke … It’s only nine o’clock in the morning now. Why can’t you let me sleep a little longer?!”

“Can’t you just let me have a good rest?”

Leslie’s face was dolled up with beautiful

makeup, but her expression was ugly. Ignoring Harvey’s grumbles, she yanked his hand and hissed, “Come with me to the airport. We’re going to pick someone up!”

Harvey initially wanted to ask in detail.

However, he kept quiet after seeing Leslie’s ugly face.

Soon, Leslie’s Porsche 911 drifted on the Huancheng Expressway and entered the departure lounge of the Hong Kong International Airport.

The Don family members were already waiting in the departure lounge.

When they saw her approaching, they hurriedly

trotted over to help her with parking. At the same time, they pointed out the location of a western restaurant.

Leslie’s face remained ugly. With a Hermes in her hand, she strode forward impatiently.

Harvey hesitated for a while, but followed her nonetheless.

He wanted to see what exactly could make the eternally cold Ms. Clarke furious.

Soon, the two arrived at the entrance of the

western restaurant.

The place had been fully booked. There were no other guests, and all the waiters were serving a table of distinguished guests.

Among the guests were a man and a woman.

The man was of local descent; tall, handsome, gentle, and refined. He was also wearing a pair of golden glasses, giving him the impression that he was a nobleman.

Opposite him was a blonde from the Empire of the Sun that Never Sets.

“Yes.”

Leslie answered, her voice icy.

“Although I’ve never regarded him as my man, the Don family and the Evans do have a marriage contract. The ones getting engaged are me and him.”

“Senior Evans called my father last night and asked me to pick him up today.”

“Yet, this is what I see. Murphy Evans wants to embarrass me and the Don family!”

Harvey raised his eyebrows slightly. “The Evans? Which family?”

Leslie replied indifferently, “The Evans, where Elmer Evans is the senior.”

“He was the former Governor of Hong Kong. When the Don family got engaged with the Evans, we were out of their league.”

Although Leslie looked in different, her words were bitingly cold.

Harvey smiled. “Then, do you have any feelings for Murphy?” “No!” Leslie exclaimed decisively.
