"I've got to leave now."

The four other men were even more surprised at the sudden declaration. They could only sit in place and watch in shock as Austin walked out of the palace without another word.

Having just made a breakthrough, Austin had no intention of further cultivation.

Frequent breakthroughs could easily weaken the foundation of cultivation, after all, so they weren't necessarily good or sought after.

"I've taken the remaining two Green Evil Pills over the last two months," Caroline said excitedly.

"It worked! I've reached the preliminary stage of Semi-emperor Realm!"

A wide grin adorned her beautiful face as she spoke.

"The truth is, every single person of the evil shadow race has a body well-suited to cultivation. Our cultivation speeds are usually much faster than you humans.

However, the energy we need for cultivation is not enough and the laws of heaven and earth are somehow incomplete in the Prime Martial World," she explained.

she added, a somewhat thoughtful expression on her face.

Austin nodded his head at her words.

Just like Caroline said, all kinds of energy were relatively scarce in the Prime Martial World.

In comparison, there were vast amounts of all different kinds of energy in the Divine Continent.

"Oh, by the way," said Caroline as she remembered something, "someone came looking for you in the last two months when you were gone."

Compared to how excited she sounded just a few moments ago, her tone suddenly turned a little unhappy, making Austin blink in confusion.

"Huh? Someone came looking for me? Who was it?"

he asked. He couldn't possibly think of anyone who would search for him while he was gone.

For some reason, his response only seemed to infuriate Caroline further. "Just see for yourself!"

she huffed, shooting Austin an angry look before waving her hand.

Immediately, a figure of a woman formed by Caroline's spiritual sense force energy appeared right in front of Austin.

It was Zoe!

Immediately, Austin understood.

he said, curious about this mission.

"Elder Brendan has let me arrange some elite disciples who are under the Emperor Realm to go to the Shiny Sect in the Dawning Kingdom together.

However, Elder Brendan says the mission may be very dangerous. I came to ask you whether you'd like to take part in it despite that,"

explained Rahul.

Needless to say, Austin's performance in the Wild Herb Valley last time had impressed Rahul.

Elder Brendan said the details of the mission won't be made public before we set out,"

replied Rahul.

Austin was quiet as he thought this through. Finally, he nodded his head.

"Alright then. Rahul, please let me take part in this mission."

Just like that, he had made his decision.

Having just broken through to the medium stage of Semi-emperor Realm, Austin had already intended to go out and hone his skills through fierce fighting. It was only natural that he didn't want to miss such a mission now.
