"That has to be it. That guy bragged so much earlier, but actually can't back it up. So he's trying to kill himself to avoid embarrassment."
Those harsh words echoed around Fane. Not a single person thought that Fane could do anything.
Fane did not care what everyone else thought. He merely took a deep breath as he moved his hand. Everyone heard a piercing sound, and blood immediately flowed from Fane's throat. It was the first time Fane felt his life slowly slipping away.
That was the feeling of being close to death, but Fane was not in a panic at all. Even though everyone had talked up a storm, feeling like Fane's crazy actions were him giving up, no one expected Fane to actually do it.
"This guy actually did kill himself. If he really wanted to give up and leave this place, he could have just stopped fighting and let the wind beasts finish him. Did he need to kill himself? Does he think it would look sad? So what if it did? Would we look at him in a better light?"
Fane's actions caused everyone a lot of surprises.
They could not understand why Fane did so. Even Rudy panicked. When Fane pointed the sword at his own throat, various thoughts flashed in Rudy's mind.
Rudy already knew not to question any of Fane's actions, he felt like Fane was always incredibly logical no matter what he did, but Rudy never expected that Fane would actually kill himself.
Could Fane really have given up as they said? However, Rudy immediately shook his head and threw that thought to the back of his head when the idea surfaced.
He merely looked at Rudy before shutting his eyes. Everyone started to laugh as they looked at Fane like a joke. "That kid is something else. He acted like he had seen through everything, but he actually killed himself the next moment..."
"There must be something wrong with his head. Even if he wanted to be eliminated, there was no need to do something so crazy. What was the point other than letting us laugh at him?"
Edgar was laughing uproariously, but he was still fighting the wind beasts. He still had the time to mock Fane, "There really is something wrong with his head. I thought he was strong at the start, but it looks like I was wrong..."
Right after Edgar had said that the creaking sounds of mechanisms moving could be heard. Everyone suddenly looked up, and a howling wind blew past them. All of the wind beasts suddenly stopped moving, as if a button to stop had been pushed.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor
I hope that by the end of the year fane will leave the whirling world and go to a new place...
This novel become with much unnecessary speech a lot of trash talk with a few of fight and advanced events even a fight with beast will take more then 10 chapters to be ended and many other important events will cost even more then then 20 chapters to end . U can remove the long unnecessary speech or u can post 20 chapters or more per day,if this not possible i will stop reading this novel,i don't have any other option because i'm not enjoying it...
It became a little boring, the events advanced slowly that 10 chapters become not enough to enjoy the events and there's a lot of unnecessary speech...
can u pls post 15 to 20 chapters per day if it's possible ?...
