Yelena sneered, "Do you think I believe you?"

"I don't care if you believe it." With that, I hung up the phone without hesitation.

Yelena stared at the phone screen, utterly speechless.

At that moment, Otis pushed open the door and walked in. "What did she just say to you?"

Yelena glanced at Otis and replied, "She said she can't be bothered with you right now."

Otis didn't seem to mind at all, saying, "She knows everything I've done. It would be strange if she could forgive me."

Yelena felt slightly less resentful at that. She asked, "So, what should we do next?"

Otis replied calmly, "Do you know how Annalise managed to marry Zane back then?"

Yelena shook her head. She had spent all her time hanging out with friends and never had the time or interest to think about such things.

Otis replied, "It was because of Zane's daughter, Willow."

Yelena looked at Otis curiously.

He continued, "Willow wanted a mother, so Zane invited Annalise to his home to be her mother. Later, as they spent more time together, Willow grew especially fond of her new mother. Zane saw how well Annalise treated Willow, and that's why he was willing to take their relationship further."

Yelena fell silent, deep in thought.

Otis concluded, "If you really want Zane to treat you differently, your best approach is to start with Willow."

Yelena nodded, agreeing with his reasoning. "So, what should I do?"

Otis smiled and said, "I've already arranged for you to work at Willow's kindergarten. All you need to do is get close to her while you're working there. Make her like you, and everything else will naturally fall into place."

Yelena nodded. "I understand."
