Hosea was in total agreement with what Everett said.
After all, Everett was not even 30 years old yet, while Pierce was already pushing 40, and a lot of things could change in the span of ten years.
However, if it were anyone else, Hosea wouldn't have thought the same way. Ten years might seem like a long time, but if time alone could improve one's combat power, there wouldn't be so many people struggling to get into the Dragon or Tiger Ranking.
In fact, countless people remained where they had started from ten years ago. Over those ten years, many had made it onto the Tiger Ranking, but the title of the invincible had always belonged to only one person.
Of course, if it was Everett speaking such words, it would be a different story altogether. After all, his talent was undeniable.
After venting his anger, Everett gradually calmed down. He looked at Hosea and said in a deep voice, "The combined strength of the Duo of Doom is top-tier among the Tiger Ranking. It shouldn't have been easy for Pierce to defeat them, right?"
Hearing this, Hosea let out a bitter smile.
If it had been a hard-fought battle, that would've been understandable. But unfortunately, the reality was far from that—it had been all too easy.
"Mr. Benton, according to reliable sources, Pierce killed the Duo of Doom in fewer than ten moves."
The moment he heard this, Everett's expression darkened once more while indignation appeared in his eyes again.
"The fact that Pierce could kill the Duo of Doom in less than ten moves while they're attacking him at the same time means he might as well already be in the Dragon Ranking. So, this is why he dares to provoke me and my family! Haha. Very well then. Does my grandfather know about this?"
"Mr. Frye, prepare the car. I'm going to see my grandfather. We Bentons cannot stand by and do nothing in regard to this matter! Otherwise, we'll become the biggest laughing stock in the world."
Hosea nodded heavily. "Indeed. If the Duo of Doom hadn't made a move, there would still be room for negotiation. But the fact that they did means the Benton family is officially involved in this. And yet, they were killed anyway.
"This isn't just disrespecting the Benton family—no, it's like throwing their pride to the ground and stomping on it over and over again. If we tolerate this, the family's prestige built over the years will be completely wiped out."
Everett nodded coldly, his eyes brimming with killing intent.
"Let's go pay my grandfather a visit."
