It wasn't just those traitors and criminals kneeling.
Soon, the Norberg family members who had been captured while returning were also bound and forced to kneel in the rain, right next to the others.
At this point, these Norberg family members were on the verge of losing their minds. Four or five of them, kneeling in the rain, began shouting furiously.
"You bastards! Do you know who we are?"
"Let us go right now, or you'll all die for this!"
"I'm Orlando Norberg, a direct descendant of the Norberg family! My father holds a high position in the family. How dare you treat us like this? You all must have a death wish!"
"That's right, you're all dead! Just wait—when your people come out, you'll pay with your lives!"
Some members of the Norberg family, seeing the guards stationed at the gate, immediately began shouting for help.
"Save us! Hurry and inform Mr. Geoffrey that these people have gone too far!"
But no matter how much they yelled and cursed, the Norberg family guards didn't make a move. On the other hand, the captors paid them no further attention after leaving them kneeling in the rain.
At that moment, the hundreds of people present immediately straightened up and adopted respectful postures upon recognizing the luxurious MPV pulling up.
As the car door opened, Fang quickly stepped forward and held up an umbrella for Nolan.
"Mr. Greene, the canopy has been set up. You can sit under it to stay out of the rain."
The canopy was spacious, with a large chair placed prominently in the center. Several other chairs were arranged around it, but it was clear at a glance who the central position was meant for.
Owen nodded. "Yes, that's him alright."
Vernon's expression darkened as he nodded slightly and said, "He's even younger than I imagined. His potential is boundless, but how can someone so young act with such ruthlessness? Owen, go with Geoffrey and speak with him. My hope is that he can think clearly and realize that some lines cannot be crossed before the situation escalates into a full-blown battle.
"Also, tell him to release the family members kneeling in the rain. Let him know that everything is negotiable—even the Spirit of Life Serum isn't off the table. This is the last chance I'm willing to give him."
Hearing this, Owen was stunned for a brief moment before turning to Vernon and saying, "Grandpa, do we really need to negotiate like this? Won't this give Nolan too much power and make him look down on us?"
Geoffrey quickly chimed in, "Exactly. We haven't lost yet. If word of this gets out, it would truly be a blow to our family's reputation."
Vernon responded with a cold chuckle. "Some things can only be understood by seeing them for yourself. Nolan might be even more troublesome than we initially imagined. Let's not kid ourselves—if we really fight to the end today, our family will suffer significant losses as well."
