Sirius' eyes lit up with excitement. He immediately saluted Nolan respectfully and said, "Mr. Greene, we pledge our lives to serve you!"

After Sirius left, Nolan turned to Wayne and Melody with a light smile. "Dad, Mom, if you need anything in the next few days, just let Sirius know. We'll be heading out now."

Wayne and Melody nodded but hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Nolan, don't do anything reckless. We know you're not the same as you were before, but you still need to be careful."

Nolan chuckled and nodded. "Don't worry. I'll be careful, I promise."

Nolan glanced at Megan and Jeanne and, in an indifferent voice, said, "Let's go. Time to head to Eastland to meet your so-called backer."

Without waiting for a response, he walked over to a sleek black luxury sedan and got into the back seat.

Megan's anger flared instantly at his arrogant words.

"Nolan, so what if you know it was Owen who took him? Did you not hear a word I just said? If you don't go after Owen and lie low instead, you might still have a chance to survive. But walking right into his hands? Owen won't let you off that easily. You have no idea how powerful he really is!
