At that instant, Nolan's actions struck terror into everyone present. He was like a madman, consumed by rage and exuding an aura of pure menace.
Tyler was barely clinging to life, his breaths shallow and erratic.
Even Liana, who had been furious just moments ago, stood frozen, overwhelmed by fear.
Before anyone could speak, the hospital staff, alerted by the commotion, rushed in. The scene left them stunned, and they quickly moved to intervene.
"Who are you? Stop it right now! You're going to kill the patient!"
"Stop immediately, or we'll call security! The police will be here soon!"
Nolan, his bloodshot eyes blazing, roared at the doctors and nurses, "Get out of my sight! All of you, leave now, or I swear I'll kill you too!"
Nolan had never pretended to be a good person. In moments of unrestrained rage, anyone who stood in his way became his enemy.
At that moment, even Liana rushed forward to pull him back. "Nolan, my dear brother, I know you're standing up for me, but you're going to kill him! It's not worth it. Not worth it at all! Please, I'm begging you. Stop this, Nolan. Let him go!"
Tears welled up in Liana's eyes and spilled over, but they weren't for the battered and bloodied Tyler. She cried because she feared Nolan might end up in prison again because of what he had done.
"Go, Nolan. You have to leave now. I'll handle this. I'll explain things to them and persuade Tyler not to press charges. Just go, please!"
Wayne, however, slammed his fists against the wall in fury and shouted, "Go where? Why should he leave? If you dare to hit someone, you need to pay the price.
"Nolan, you really think you've grown bold now. If no one had stopped you, would you have killed him outright?
"You troublesome child. Can you stop causing trouble for once?"
Hearing Wayne scolding him even at a time like this, defending Tyler of all people, Nolan could no longer contain himself.
