The President's Accidental Wife novel Chapter 1641

They talked in Grace's ward.

Grace was lying in bed, and Bella was sitting on the sofa.

After a long while, Bella said, "He risked his life for you. Can't you forgive him?"

"It has nothing to do with you," Grace replied bluntly.

"I know, but 1 like him, and I hope he'll be fine."

Bella picked up the water glass from the table and took a sip.

"If you can forgive him, then I'll quit, and you can live with him. If not, don't mislead him and tell him to give up his wishful thinking so that he can focus on his own life.

"He lost his company and almost lost his life for you. Don't you feel guilty?"

Grace was amused. "It seems that I haven't done anything. I didn't ask him to stay with me. You shouldn't have said this to me. You should try to persuade Charlie as long as you can."

Bella knew there was no need to discuss any further.

She stood up and said, "One shouldn't be so selfish."

In the afternoon, Summer came to see Grace.

Summer was relieved to see that Grace was safe. She asked about Charlie. Knowing that he was out of danger, Summer put her mind at rest.

Grace was afraid of love and was avoiding it.

"Anyway, you should go to see him."

"The doctor said that the surgery was successful. There won't be any problems. Besides, Mckenzie and Bella are around him. I don't need to go to see him," Grace answered.

At these words, Summer didn’t say anything else.

They talked for a while. Summer left. Grace closed her eyes, trying to sleep, but she failed.

Charlie woke up at ten o’clock in the evening. His handsome face was pale. He opened his eyes, asking, "Where is she?" He was asking about Grace.
