"I won't take your word for it!" Eileen sneered.
"You'll find out tomorrow. Go to sleep now. It's too late." Luke said.
After the two of them had argued for a long time, she couldn't help but get sleepy and close her eyes.
He also closed his eyes. They could only hear the sound of the wood burning in the fire.
Early the next morning.
Eileen woke up first and saw the light outside the cave. Obviously, it was dawn.
Her shoulder felt heavy, so she looked over.
She saw Luke's head was resting on her shoulder, and he was in a deep sleep.
The firewood around them was still burning.
She thought he definitely didn't sleep well all night. Otherwise, without more firewood, the fire would have gone out.
At this time, Brad stretched his arms and said, "Mom, good morning."
Hearing Brad's words, Luke woke up. He sat up slowly, twisted his stiff neck, which actually made a sound, and said, "Since it's dawn, let's go."
Brad stroked his belly and said, "I'm hungry."
Eileen opened the bag she had brought with her, where there were two buns.
She gave one bun to Brad and threw the other one to Luke casually.
Picking up the bun, Luke smiled.
Glancing at his look, Eileen frowned and said directly, "If you are weak from hunger, how can you carry me out of the forest later?"
Luke didn't think so but tore open the bun bag.
Squatting, he gave the bun to her and said : n a low and steady voice, "You should eat it. Even if I don't eat it, I can carry you out of here."
It was better to identify the direction during the day. Luke looked around carefully and then walked into the forest.
A few hours later, they finally saw the road in front of them.
Brad jumped excitedly, "We are out."
Eileen let out a sigh of relief, "This time we found the right direction."
"Dad, can we go down the hills by riding in a cable car? I saw someone taking the cable car." Brad pointed in a direction.
However, at this moment, Luke didn't want to take the cable car.
Although he was tired, he felt the relief and happiness that he had never felt before. He said, "Are you tired?"
Brad nodded, "Dad, aren't you tired?"
"Your mother is very slim. It is impossible for me to feel tired. Didn’t you say I didn’t treat her well before? I want to continue carrying her. Let’s go." Luke reached out to touch Brad's hair.
