"Are you okay?'. He inquired.

I nodded, and he wrapped me in his arms.

It's been an hour yet the fire department hasn't come and the more we stand here the sooner we both get crushed.

Drake took my hands and dived my eyes to the front door, "are you ready?". He says to me, " ready for". I asked.

"You'll see"

He runs his hands on my waist and asked me to close my eyes I had no idea what he was going to do, but the next minute, I saw myself being pushed away from the fire and out to safety, the fire spread with Drake stuck in the middle.

we heard him coughing, and the more he inhales it the weaker he becomes, Alyssa rushed over and vent out her frustration.

She says, "if anything happens to Drake, just be rest assured that, you will be going to jail".

To me, I figured she meant, if anything happened to Liam and as much as I don't want to banter words with her, it's best to pay a draft ear to her venom words, the fire department, came and puts off the fire.

Unfortunately, we found Drake laying unconscious on the ground.

"Liam"

I ran to his aid, Alyssa aimed to drag me but falls back when Jason stopped her.

"Get out of my path?" She drops a command, yet he stood and refused to obey.

The ambulance came and took Drake away, Andres gets into the car and drives behind them to the hospital.

We all rushed in and saw Drake dragged into the emergency room, I hoped nothing happens to Liam because, with the amount of smoke he inhaled, it's difficult to know the outcome.

Afterward, Alyssa came to the hospital, the doctor gets out of the emergency room, and we all blocked him from going further.

"Doctor is everything okay?"

Andre's asked.

The doctor moved a step and said, "not sure sir! Because the amount of smoke he inhaled, has affected his lungs, all we just need now is to pray and ask for God's intervention".

(Shocked expression)

I almost dropped listening to the doctor.

How and what going to happen? Why is life playing tricks on us, can our lives ever be peaceful.

Meanwhile, Alyssa folds her hands and stormed outside, somehow something urged me to go after her, and so I did, just to hear her talking to herself.

"what am I going to do?" She turns and found me listening. "what did you do?" I said and met dangling her eyes.

Something tells me that whatever happened, the fire outbreak was a result of someone's doing.

"Nothing?" She says and tried leaving, "hold on Allyssa?" I took her back.

"What?" She frowned.

"Tell me the truth!!! Did you catch the mansion on fire, and please don't you dare lie to me". I asked her.

"No!!! Whatever happened at the mansion was just an unfortunate accident".

She replied.

"You're lying"

I yelled.

"No!! I am not and please lower that voice, we are in the hospital". She lets out to me.

I almost pulled her hair from her head, if not for Andre intervention

He informed the doctor who wanted to speak with me.

I rushed in and Alyssa walks behind.

"Yes doctor, you called for me"

I said.

"Ma'am!! Liam needs a blood transfusion between now and tomorrow".

He informed.

I replied.

Drake takes his head up a little and grinned at me.

What's going on?

He drops his eyes on Andre's and smiled lovingly at him.

Why's he smiling?

His behavior got me mystified, I turned my back on him, but he calls me again.

"Miss Sara?"

He called.

I turned back and said, "yes please?" Alyssa stood at the side and watched the drama unfold.

Drake raised his hand and, reeled me in for a hug, which got me confused and Alyssa a lot angry.

He pulls me a step backward and whispered to my ears, "I missed you so much, my star fire,".

Star fire?..

I immediately pulled him away, Liam only calls me that, minus the many nicknames he has for me.

Andre's somehow understood what was happening, he pushed Alyssa away and jumped on his dad.

"Hello my not-so-little man, have missed you so much," Liam kissed him.

Alyssa got so upset that, she angrily moved Andres away and screamed.

"Drake!! What's going on here?"

Liam squaws his eyes and replied with the same tone, "what do you mean, and why are you calling me Drake?"

"What!!! Aren't you my Drake?. She says to him.
