"Lied about my true identity? So you're saying it's the same thing you did!! May I remind you that Elena khan murdered my father and tossed me off the cliff!! Don't you dare say it's two sides of the same coin"?

My words triggered a harsh tone from her, she vented and held me by my shirt, "what!! Did you think what Elena did to me wasn't enough, she destroyed my childhood as well, although I know I wasn't tossed off the cliff, my identity and that of my biological parents was taken from me, so don't you think it's the same time? I lied about not knowing the truth, but I only did that to expose Elena, and what did you do?".

She hissed taking a walks past me.

"Don't you dare walk away from me, Riya!!! We aren't done talking". I ruled, yet the minions in her head told her order-wise, Riya endeavors the same actions but swirls back the second I dragged her.

"What is wrong with you? Are you that stubborn not to listen to me?" I said In an elevated tone, which pushed hers as well, "and who do you think you're to me, Mr. Andres Kahn, you are no one and just because you're the son to my worst enemy doesn't change the fact that you're just like a mother".

Stillness takes over the atmosphere, the second Riya tagged me like a common criminal.

I figured it was best to cool off a bit because fighting with Riya won't solve anything!! Rather we both will end up hurting each other with hurtful comments.

So, I swiveled and took a step forward, when I heard something falls behind, I turned back and saw Riya laying lifeless on the ground.

"Riya," I rushed to her aid and called an ambulance, everyone at home ran out as well and I took notice of what happened.

Elena sights from a distance and paid close notoriety to what was going on, "Andres!! What happened?" Sara asks donning a startled look.

A minute later, the ambulance came and rushed Riya to the hospital, she lay on the stretcher, out cold, what happened? Who shot Riya and why?.

So many questions ran through my mind, and after a while, the ambulance opens up and dragged her into the emergency room.

I paced around and prayed for a miracle, deep down, I hoped for a miracle, because she has lost a lot of blood.

Hours passed, still waiting for the doctor to tell what was going on.

He walks out and met us outside.

"Doctor!! Is Riya going to be okay?" I asked still amazed by the whole scenario.

The doctor buffed out a deep breath and said, "please sir, we just found out that our blood bank doesn't have Riya's blood type and it will take a whole lot of hours before we can get one, and the more time we delay, the more danger she's exposed too, we need to get blood for her sir".

(A frightening look framed on).

The news shattered me to a million pieces, my mind drifted away, that's when I remembered Riya's mom, (Mrs. Veronica), immediately I put off the scared look and drove to the exact place, she opens the door and was startled to see me after a few hours spent with her, "son!! Are you with Riya? What's wrong?" I figured she noticed the deplorable demeanor hovering over me.

I tried so hard not to cast the whole truth, before letting her seat down, I dragged her in.

"So!! What's going on?" She asked again.

I ducked up my head, pulled out a stool, and said, "ma'am!! What I am about to tell you, promise me, not to scream".

"Huh". I was so engrossed with the whole situation, my words immediately disappeared, I didn't know what to say and how to defend myself, they dragged me out of the apartment and straight to the police station.

"Get in" like a criminal the officer in charge nudged me into the cell and locked me up with the rest of the criminals, still wasn't able to alter a word.

Somehow the press found out about the incident and within a short limited time, the entire police station was filled with reporters, they managed to get in and took photos of me locked up behind bars.

(They all yelled out at once)

"Mr khan, what can you say about the allegations made against you!! Did you truly murder Mrs. Veronica Lewis, or is someone trying to get you framed".

(Inaudible conversation)

They all bombarded me with a lot of questions, I locked my hands out of resentment, deep down I feel I knew who was behind this?.

The news channel got a hold of this and aired it on the TV, Sara got to see it as well as all the family members, she ran out and came with Lisa.

"Andre's!! What's going on?" She asked, I buffed out a deep breath and told on all that happened after I left the hospital.

A weird expression drops and somehow Sara had this same feeling I got a while ago, "what if Elena did everything?" She says to me.
