Chapter 1132 Set Up His Own Sect
Meanwhile, Kai was on a plane to Xenhall.
He planned to make use of Pentacarna Tower’s power to swiftly increase his strength so that he could save his mother and Josephine before New Year’s.
After more than five hours, the plane landed safely in Xenhall.
Then, Kai hailed a taxi and headed straight for Gardner Manor.
Initially, he expected to find Gardner Manor in ruins. But now, he saw that the enclosure walls were rebuilt, and coming from inside the manor’s grounds were the sounds of machinery.
At that moment, he could not help feeling a little confused. He had no clue as to who had dared to claim Gardner Manor as theirs within the short span of a little over ten days.
Kai strode to the gates, but the guards stopped him. Seeing that he could not enter that way, he leaped into the air and over the wall.
He decided to go to Pentacarna Tower and take a look. If someone wants to redevelop the place and is merely a real estate developer, I’ll buy the entire piece of land!
Since there was no way of moving Pentacarna Tower away, he would just have to become the owner of the place. He was even planning to use the area to set up his own sect in order to go up against the Warriors Alliance.
Although I already have the Dragon Sect, it wouldn’t be appropriate to divulge anything about it. I can set up another sect, then gather several of the Dragon Sect’s regiments together. That way, my capabilities will increase drastically. And with the secret of the Pentacarna Tower, rescuing Mother and Josephine before the new year won’t be impossible.
Kai concealed himself among the construction workers at the manor, and after making his way to the Pentacarna Tower, he immediately spotted the Martial Arts Grandmasters at the bottom of the tower.
Kai frowned when he saw them.
The presence of these Martial Arts Grandmasters proves that whoever is redeveloping Gardner Manor is no ordinary real estate developer. Some martial arts family must’ve decided to take over this place.
Kai’s only wish was that whoever it was had not discovered the secret of Pentacarna Tower. Only then would he still be able to negotiate with them.
Just then, some of the Martial Arts Grandmasters noticed Kai, and one of them moved to block his path. “Who are you? How did you break in?”
They were very nervous to see Kai. After all, no ordinary person would approach that area.
The Martial Arts Grandmasters looked shocked when they heard that. Their auras surged at once, and they drew their weapons.
Reaching out a hand, Kai crushed Joshua’s head with a single slap.
The reason Kai killed Joshua was to silence the latter. As the Gardner family’s butler, he knew that Joshua had to be privy to the Pentacarna Tower’s secret.
Even though I’ve no idea whether he has revealed the tower’s secret, it’s best to kill him first.
One of the Martial Arts Grandmasters wore a fierce expression as he demanded, “How dare you kill one of the Norton family? D*mn it!”
Kai frowned. “Are all of you from the Norton family in Jadeborough?”
I didn’t expect that the Nortons would actually come here. But now that I recall how Skylar and Karl were as thick as thieves and plotted to kill me, it’s not surprising that they’d be here.
