560.Chapter 560
560.Chapter 560
“Get those people out of the way. No one is allowed within 300 feet of the camp,” Nolan instructed after his adjutant finished relaying the remaining orders.
Nolan, after preparing to return to the camp and spend time with Eliza, suddenly heard a commotion coming from the entrance of the camp.
He glanced over and, frowning in displeasure, gave a curt command.
The adjutant glanced in the direction of the noise and nodded. “Yes, I’ll take care of it right away.”
Though the noisy woman was a mystery, it was clear she had already displeased Nolan.
So regardless of Louisa’s beauty, she was going to be escorted out.
The adjutant turned and headed straight toward the camp entrance.
Nolan, disinterested, turned away and made his way back to the camp.
But when Louisa saw this, she suddenly raised her voice, calling out, “Prince Regent, please wait! I am Louisa, daughter of the Governor of Woteria, here by my father’s command to seek you.”
Louisa thought, ‘Why is he leaving already? Didn’t he see me just now?‘
Clearly, she needed to get closer, to ensure that the esteemed Prince Regent truly saw her beauty, giving her the opportunity to move forward.
With this thought, Louisa, who usually spoke in soft tones, now called out without regard for her image.
After all, it didn’t matter if he couldn’t clearly see her face; once he heard her name, Nolan would surely react.
Louisa thought, ‘After all, the Black Flag Army is right outside Centrina City, practically at the gates of the Malone family. Can Nolan really ignore my father’s face?‘
Coming from the prestigious Malone family, Louisa’s father was the Governor of Woteria, and her mother was from another prominent family. She had never been one to be disrespected in Woteria.
Everywhere she went, she was the center of attention.
After all, both her background and beauty were unmatched in Woteria.
Perhaps because of her upbringing, Louisa had never faced any hardship and never considered that the respect she received was only within the boundaries of Woteria.
But now, those in charge here were not only above her father’s rank.
Inside the camp, Eliza seemed uninterested in what was happening outside, but her little creatures were perched atop the guards‘ helmets, watching the situation unfold and relaying it to her.
Eliza, while not looking up, was adding the final touches to a cold–repelling remedy, mixing the magical water st retrieved from her pocket farm.
She listened with great interest to the reports from her little spies.

At the entrance of the camp, Nolan seemed genuinely drawn by Louisa’s words, stopping in his tracks before finally turning to face her.
Louisa slightly tilted her body and casually moved her fan, revealing her most beautiful side, then spoke softly to Nolan in the distance, “Prince Regent, may I come in now?”
Nolan saw her.
A triumphant smile flickered in Louisa’s eyes, and with a slight flutter of her eyelashes, she exuded a magnetic allure. Coupled with her stunning beauty, it was impossible not to be mesmerized.
Even the adjutant, who had been ready to dismiss her, couldn’t help but pause for a moment.
But that hesitation lasted only an instant.
Quickly regaining his composure, the adjutant moved to block her view, saying, “Prince Regent has given orders for you to leave. You are not allowed to come any closer.”
The unsuspecting guard stood frozen, his eyes wide in confusion, too afraid to move.
Only Louisa and the adjutant caught a glimpse.
It seemed to be a bug.
The adjutant had a suspicion but said nothing.
Louisa, however, frowned in confusion, thinking, What’s going on? Why is he suddenly catching bugs?
‘Is Nolan really so kind to his soldiers that he personally helps them remove a bug from their helmet?‘
As Louisa puzzled over this, she saw Nolan turn and head back to the camp. Louisa thought, ‘Wait, he’s just leaving like that? Wasn’t he coming to see me?‘ Louisa’s eyes widened, and she instinctively called out, “Wait, I’m still here.”
She was still standing there, so why was Nolan walking away?
Louisa couldn’t understand.
But fortunately, as she called out, Nolan seemed to realize something. He turned back, giving her a glance before saying to the adjutant, “Don’t push her away…”
Hearing the first half of his command, Louisa nodded with satisfaction.
Of course, how could they possibly drive away a beauty like her?
She had expected to be invited in, to sit down, and perhaps even have a pleasant chat or play some music together.
But just as she thought that, Nolan’s voice came from a few steps away, giving an emotionless order: “Take her into custody. Don’t let her escape.”
He had been planning to deal with Jefferson, and since Jefferson’s daughter had so kindly presented herself, he wouldn’t miss this opportunity.
After giving the order, Nolan turned back to the camp.
Eliza’s little bugs really did have a tendency to wander off–time to send them back.
