Finnegan had a clear understanding of what was on Mandy's mind.

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the phone rang.

It was a strange number from Durbaine.

Finnegan initially wanted to hang up, but when he noticed the number consisted of four sixes, he decided to answer the call. After all, typical telemarketing calls wouldn't use such a special phone number.

As soon as the call connected, a woman's calm and pleasant voice came from the other end of the line. “Is this Finnegan?”

It sounded vaguely familiar.

Finnegan replied, “It's me.”

“I'm Madison Zeller.” After confirming that it was Finnegan on the other end of the phone, the woman's voice became slightly more excited. “I thought Rhiannon was joking with me, but it turns out you really did come back. How about having lunch together this afternoon?”

The corner of Finnegan's mouth twitched. Rhia is getting me into trouble! Just last night, Madison was mentioned, and today, Madison had already called.

However, Finnegan didn't hesitate at all when he replied, “Hi, Madison. Long time no see. I'm busy at work this afternoon. I don't have any free time!”
