The guardian's sword by Taking Cigarette novel Chapter 2294

The Carver family was quick. In about ten minutes, they had arranged the cars and route.

Optimus Clinic was a five-minute drive from the hospital.

They already went as fast as they could go. To ensure nothing happened to Michael, the Carver family spared no effort to get rid of all the obstructions along the way.

The Carver family soon loaded Michael into the vehicle on his hospital bed.

Once he was placed steadily, the vehicle started the engine and headed toward Optimus Clinic as fast as possible. Theodore and the others also left the hospital.

Standing in his office, Martin watched the vehicle containing Michael drive away with a smile of relief on his face. He then called Curtis, which was quickly connected.

“Mr. Lake, Michael has left the hospital, as have the Carver family and the Davis family,” Martin said immediately.

Curtis’ surprised voice came from the phone. “You’re efficient! If Michael dies this time, I’ll tell my father to promote you!”

Martin looked pleasantly surprised when he heard that.

People often called doctors angels and kind. In Martin’s opinion, it was nonsense. He did not think he could make a living by being kind.

In this day and age, cash was king!

Martin was middle-aged and had long forgotten the oath he took when he became a doctor.

“Thank you, Mr. Lake! I’ve checked Michael’s condition. After leaving the intensive care unit, he’ll die within two days!” Martin said quickly, looking excited.

Curtis also replied with a slight smile. “Good, good, good! How dare that old fart defy the Lake family? He’s asking for trouble!”

With that said, he hung up the phone.

Seeing his father’s reaction, Curtis’ joy had already disappeared and was replaced by solemness.

Growing up, he had never seen his father’s plans go wrong.

Since Kennedy said Michael was not yet settled, other contingencies would happen.

“Got it, Dad!

Curtis turned around and contacted someone to keep an eye on Michael.
