Just then, a red Bentley sped over and stopped in front of Moana.
“Mr. Edgar, you wanted to see me?” a girl lower the car window and asked Moana.
The person in the car was none other than Quentin’s daughter, Shania.
“Yes…” Moana nodded.
Hearing this, Shania quickly parked her car nearby and ran up to Moana.
Looking at Moana, who was in front of her, Shania was slightly anxious. She did not why the other party had asked to meet her.
“Did you tell your father that you are out?” Moana asked.
“Of course, I did. My father is relieved to know I came out to meet you,” Shania said with a smile.
Moana was the commander-in-chief of the city defense army and the strongest person in Dorodo. Quentin was relieved to know that Shania was meeting Moana. It was because Moana was practically a free bodyguard. Even though he did not know what Moana’s purpose was in asking to meet his daughter, but he trusted Moana to take care of Shania.
Killer X was still out there. As the mayor, he was afraid to do anything, let alone leave the mayor’s residence, lest Killer X found a chance to assassinate him. However, with Moana protecting Shania, she did not have to fear the so-called Killer X.
Moana laughed when he heard that.
“If your father knew the reason I asked you out, he might jump up in anger.”
“I will catch the killer,” Moana replied.
Catching the killer was not the same as protecting Shania.
With that in mind, Shania was instantly more scared. She even wanted to run back to the car and quickly go home to hide in her warm bed. However, she eventually did not do so after some hesitation.
She looked up, straightened her somewhat flat chest, and mustered the courage, saying, “I’m the mayor’s daughter, and l have to do my part to protect Dorodo. If the killer tries to assassinate me, please catch them, Mr. Edgar!”
Moana nodded approvingly after glancing at Shania.
Although Shania was only 18 years old and delicate, she was quite brave.
