The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2661

The middle-aged woman shrieked, "I'm warning you—stop it, or someone will come for you!'

She tried to get back on her feet and continue running, but she sprained her ankle when she stumbled. Still, she kept crawling despite being unable to walk.

Myra followed unhurriedly, laughing. "Actually, I'm quite keen to see who's got your back. I happen to have free time on my hands, so why don't you call them over to talk things out directly?"

"You're not… scared?" The middle-aged woman was left stunned by Myra's boldness.

Myra smiled in wry amusement. "If you had the world's greatest behind you like myself, you wouldn't fear a thing. Just call them all you want!"

"Alright, don't you regret it! I'll make you pay for your arrogance!"

"Right, right, hurry up. We're all busy people—not everyone has the time listening to you hollering."

The middle-aged woman shot a vengeful glare at Myra and promptly called her younger brother over the phone. "Hey, you said you know this martial elite. Is that true?"

"Yeah, what about it?" a youthful voice replied.

"Call him over. Someone attacked me!"

The youth was left at a loss. "Look, sis—I'm not saying no, but that man only does what he likes. He wouldn't jump in recklessly, let alone joining street fights!"

"Who's street fighting?!"

The middle-aged woman snapped indignantly, "Do I look like that type of woman?! Come look for me right now, I'm at—"

"You're not lying to me?"

Myra told her everything that had just happened, and she sighed in exasperation. "Could you stop getting into trouble, Aunt Myra?!"

She had no idea what had gotten into her aunt, as she never loved getting into trouble like this before! Now, she was just worrisome as a child, and people might mistake Janice for the parent if they did not know any better.

Still, Myra rolled her eyes. "What? Are you doubting Mr. Frankton's strength now?"

Janice sighed. "Do I look like I doubt him? I just think you should quit being such a bully!"

"A bully? Look here, it's that bitch who started this—I'm just doing a public service."

Janice would have strangled Myra if the other woman was not her aunt. "Are you just pretending you don't understand me? I don't mean that bullying bitch—she deserved it anyway."
