Dashiell Xalvadora stared at his own reflection with a sullen expression, though his thoughts were consumed by Evander Simpson’s antagonism toward him.

He followed his gaze in the mirror to look behind him, but there was clearly nothing there.

"What did you actually see..."

Dashiell murmured softly to the handsome man in the mirror.

He couldn’t allow one or two insignificant people to affect his performance; even if ’Inspiration’ couldn’t become wildly popular, he had to seize the opportunity to connect with Sebastian Carew, Ariel Zimmerman, and even Director Clark.
