A man in the intermediate stage of the true god-level guffawed after he heard what Fane said. “Haha! Do we need their help? Are you joking with us, young man? We have five masters in the peak stage of the true god-level, every one of them powerful in their own right. We also have more than a dozen in the final stage of the true god-level and so many more in the intermediate and initial stage of the true god-level that we can’t even keep count. There aren’t any in the semi-god level. Do you honestly think you’ll get out unscathed?”
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The others spread out and encompassed Fane in a circle, ready to attack.
Gaze narrowed slightly, Fane’s Chi surged from his fists as he rushed forward in a blink of an eye.
Whoosh!
Fast as lightning, Fane vanished into an afterimage as he disappeared from where he stood.
“Such speed!” gasped a man in disbelief, thinking his eyes tricked him.
“Be careful!” yelled an elder next to him immediately.
It was futile, however, as Fane reappeared before that man and punched him above his chest.
Thoom!
A powerful blast was heard as the man in the initial stage of the true god-level was sent flying by Fane’s punch.
“Curses. This young man is detestable!” Matthew gritted his teeth in anger as Fane killed two other masters in the true god-level in just seconds.
He was no fool—he could see right through Fane’s intention and ordered, “Everyone, distance yourselves. No more fooling around, or you’ll only let him win!”
Fane had killed several masters in such a short period, and Matthew could feel how everyone panicked and became nervous.
After all, they could be next.
With a flip of his hand, Fane took out his ultimate-grade spiritual tool and quickly infused Chi into it. The sword in his hand immediately lit up brightly and Fane’s momentum spiked sharply.
