“Shut up! You too, Janice Lynch! You were supposed to assist Ava in the discussion with Mister Lynch, so you’re responsible for this as well. You’re both fired as of today!” Mister Javner roared as he pointed at Janice.

When Mister Lynch called to confront Mister Javner, Mister Javner did not know the detail of what happened but could easily guess that Ava and Janice must have crossed the man.
