Chapter 2109
"What?" Leon stood abruptly from shock.
He announced that Cynthion Group was looking to recruit martial artists in the Semi-Almighty and Almighty States during the sales drive out of desperation, and did not have high hope that he could get any response.
To his pleasant surprise, a martial artist in the SemiAlmighty State responded to the recruitment shortly after the announcement.
"Mason, where's this old man? Take me to him right now!" Leon asked hastily.
"Mister Wolf, I've arranged for him to wait in the reception room," Mason said.
"Good. I'm going to meet him now!" Leon said and darted outside.
Iris, Cynthia, and the others stood and followed Leon out of the office.
In the reception room, Leon strode in with the others and spotted an old man alongside a young woman in her early twenties.
Despite her stunning looks, she was dressed casually and looked away sheepishly as though she was afraid of strangers.
"Hello, sir. I'm the chairman of Cynthion Group, Leon Wolf! How may I address you?" Leon greeted the old man politely.
"Mister Wolf, my name's Henry Yates and this is my granddaughter, Sherlyn Yates," the old man answered.
Leon was always a man who treated his subordinates with kindness. He was more than willing to share precious training methods and alchemical pills that could help with their training and were never stingy with salary, so he was confident that Henry would be satisfied with his conditions.
"Thank you, Mister Wolf, but there's something I must warn you about," Henry said hesitantly.
"What is it?" Leon asked.
"I have a powerful enemy hunting me down throughout the years. I came to Cynthion Group looking for protection, actually," Henry sighed.
"Enemy? Who's your enemy?" Leon was slightly taken by surprise.
"My enemy is the Scarlet Thief, a vicious man who ranks at fourth place on the criminal list," Henry gritted out, his bloodshot eyes filled with hatred toward Scarlet Thief.
