The Southern Boss's heart sank when he saw that Leon saw right through Rodney's trick.

Rodney's defeat of Roanne worked in their favor so much that he already decided to use this opportunity to sabotage the sales drive and bring the Thompsons down together!

However, he never once imagined that Leon would be so sharp as to realize what Rodney did and even see right through him!

"Hey, Leon, don't be a sore loser! Roanne has already lost, and we all saw it with our own two eyes, so don’t keep trying to find excuses for her failure!" the Southenr Boss said coldly as he stepped forward, trying desperately to turn the situation around.

"I'm not trying to find excuses. I'm just spouting facts!" Leon replied indignantly.

"Facts? What nonsense! The fact is that Roanne's advancement in power level is just a hoax and that you and the Thompsons staged this act and treated all of us like monkeys to take our money! You owe all of us an explanation!" the Southern Boss said in determination, trying to get everyone to turn on Leon and the Thompsons as they had in the beginning.

However, the audience was not idiots.

If Rodney were to hand over the ring and allow everyone to discover their secret, he and Rodney would no doubt pay the price for this!

"That's impossible! Who do you think you are, Leon? Am I supposed to hand over something just because you asked for it? Since I'm suspecting foul play in your alchemical pills, does that mean you're going to take off your clothes and let all of us check it too?" the Southern Boss scoffed, trying to shift the attention away from himself.

He was one of the most powerful forces in the Southern region, and so long as he refused to admit it, no one could do anything about it!

"My father is right! Leon, how dare you slander me without evidence? This is a violation and no doubt an insult to my integrity! I hereby challenge you to a duel to protect my sacred integrity!" Rodney quickly tried to steer the entire conversation away, acting as though he were the victim in this whole situation, and issued a duel to Leon in an attempt to distract everyone from the issue at hand.
