The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 2165

Justin was stunned.

He picked up on Bella’s little mood the moment she walked through the door.

With her question throwing him for the loop, Justin wrapped his arms around Bella’s waist, his muscles bulging. He rubbed his hand on her belly.

“What happened, Bella? Why do you ask?”

“Justin, I…” Bella looked distressed.

“You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to. Even though we are a couple, you’re not obliged to.”

Struck by a thought, Justin held her tighter and rested his chin on her shoulder for a snuggle. “My Bella will always be a highly independent and confident woman. Even though we’re a couple, you can still have your little secrets. I won’t interfere in any way.”

Justin’s understanding only made Bella tear up and jump into his arms to whimper.

She would not trust anybody else’s concern for her, but she had complete faith in Justin.

Without Justin to share her deepest thoughts with, she might feel so overwhelmed with emotions.

“Don’t cry, Bella.” Justin consoled her huskily.

He frantically patted her trembling back, but he held back from asking questions.

“I saw a document in Edward’s study, Justin. The papers talked about a spy named Nadia Brown who fled over thirty years ago. The woman’s age and experience reminded me of my mother.”

Bella’s tear-stained face buried in Justin’s chest, soaking his white shirt and emotions, “I’m afraid that Nadia might just be my mother.”

“There’s one more thing.”

Justin looked puzzled. “What?”

“Once this is over, shouldn’t you change the form of address like Arnold?” Bella pursed her luscious lips and blushed.

Overwhelmed with emotions, Justin could not stop the tears in his eyes and the tremor in his lips.

He locked fingers with Bella and said tearfully, “Bella, thank you for waiting for me. Thank you for giving me another chance.”

In the end, the pair enjoyed a nice bath together.

Exhausted from the travel and intense days of planning, Bella fell asleep on Justin’s chest before the latter could romance her in the bath.
