Alvin’s face paled instantly. His hand trembled with rage. He slammed the computer shut, his face flushed with anger.

The secretary was at a loss. “Chairman Larson, what should we do now?”

“I see now. The old man never truly considered me his son! Even after all these years of service, he only ever saw me as a tool. He only cares about Mila!” Alvin smashed the computer onto the floor in a fit of rage. All his affections for Mila vanished in an instant, insignificant in the face of profit.

Alvin was vibrating with fury, and he yelled out in frustration. “Dad, you’ve forced my hand at this point.”

That evening, Bella hurried back to Yara Park. She went straight to see Mila, who had just finished treating Wyatt and was coming out of the room.

“Aunt Mila, did you visit Old Master Larson? How is he?” Bella pulled her aside, worried.

“He’s not doing well,” Mila replied, holding Bella’s hand. Her eyes were red-rimmed. “Bella, there’s something I just told Wyatt. Now that you’re here, I need to tell you too. The Larson family is in a critical situation. I might have to go back to help my father manage the Larson Group.”

“Aunt Mila, have you and your father finally reconciled?” Bella’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Yes. I’m quite undeserving of it, right?” Mila smiled bitterly.

“When I was younger, I was eager to manage the business. Now, I just want to take care of Wyatt and live peacefully with the children. I recommended Arnold to my father, but he lacks management skills. During these tough times, I have to help the Larson family survive.”

“Has Old Master Larson already informed Alvin about this?”

Mila shook her head. “When I visited my father this afternoon, Alvin came by. My father pulled him aside to talk. I’m not sure if they discussed this matter.”

“Aunt Mila, I have a bad feeling about this! We need to send more people to the hospital to protect your father!” Bella said with determination. She had a plan to capture them all at once.

Mila froze for a moment. As she realized the gravity of the situation, cold sweat formed on her forehead. “We must be discreet and not alert anyone. Everything must be done in secret!” Bella said, her eyes dark and calculating.
