The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1947

Bella heard the familiar voice, gripping Justin’s hand so tightly that it turned red, her heart pounding in her chest.

“Wyatt... It’s Wyatt!”

“Uncle Wyatt?!” Justin’s handsome face showed a look of astonishment.

At that moment, a group of people, dressed in black formal attire, solemnly entered the mourning hall.

Wyatt, leading the group with an imposing presence, drew all eyes to him. But it was not just him; Mila, Celeste, and Sasha, as well as Asher and Axel, came as well, representing the Thompson family.

It was rare for half of the Thompson family to appear together, showing the importance they placed on Logan’s funeral.

“Dad!” Bella’s eyes were teary as she immediately went up to support her father.

Justin, seeing the reunion of the father and daughter, slightly curled his thin lips into a smile, but he did not step forward to offer his presence, instead silently standing in place, watching over them.

“What are you doing? I am not in my seventies or eighties. My health is fine!”

Wyatt’s heart warmed at the sight of his beloved daughter, but he scolded her playfully, “If you hold me up like this, others will think I am half paralyzed!”

Bella snorted but did not let go of her father’s arm. “Why didn’t you tell me in advance? I thought you couldn’t come.”

“It was just me worrying for nothing. I thought that with the few of us, along with Asher and Axel, coming, it would show enough sincerity without dragging your father all the way back from overseas. But your father insisted on coming back personally to see Chairman Hoffman off, to feel at ease,” Mila sighed helplessly.

Once upon a time, he was the one who could openly call that old man “Uncle Wyatt”.

Back then, Ryan did not even catch Wyatt’s attention!

“Mr. Iverson, what were those absurd words you said earlier?” Wyatt’s sharp eyes narrowed slightly, and his gaze at Christopher was intimidating.

Christopher gritted his teeth hard, speechless.

“Hmph, you dared to say it just now. Why do you not dare to admit it now?”

Wyatt arrogantly curled his lips into a mocking smile. “Mr. Iverson, I don’t know if I should call you ignorant or shortsighted. How could you say something as baseless as claiming the Hoffman family has no friends in the business world?”
