The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1901

As the livestream appeared, the police managed to locate the kidnappers’ hideout.

A fleet of police cars surrounded the old villa, their sharp sirens piercing the night, with blue and red lights dispelling the fear brought by darkness.

Bethany remained unconscious on the floor, but Zoe, who was as resilient as a cockroach, was the first to awaken.

Startled by the blaring sirens, she was utterly terrified. As she attempted to crawl to safety, a group of familiar faces suddenly charged into the room with great force.

“Carrie!”

Ryan was the first to rush in, his red eyes filled with tears—a mix of pain and hope.

He had never feared anything, not even when he and Justin ventured into the deadly South Island filled with mercenaries. But now, his face was pale as a ghost, his steps shaky, nearly stumbling.

The living room was a mess, with the unconscious bullies and the still-unconscious Bethany sprawled about.

The place was not that big, but there was no sign of Carrie.

Justin and Bella rushed into the other rooms, calling out Carrie’s name, but she was nowhere to be found.

Suddenly, Ralph and two other officers barged in and said, “We’ve looked everywhere in the villa, top to bottom, even the basement, but there’s no sign of Carrie!”

“What about Yasmin?!” Bella’s beautiful face was covered in sweat with worry.

“We can’t reach her! But the tech team is tracking her phone’s location.”

Justin’s heart suddenly sank. “Bella, you said this was Liam’s setup. Could these scums be a distraction while he moved Carrie and Yasmin elsewhere?!”

Bella was choked with fear, struggling to breathe.

Zoe saw no way to escape. Her legs were weak, and her body quivered uncontrollably. She failed to recognize that the consequences of her actions were finally catching up to her.

As her malicious deeds were exposed, Zoe put on a pitiful demeanor, crawling toward Ryan and crying miserably, “Ryan! You’ve come for me at last... Are you here to save me?! Liam kidnapped me and tried to kill me…”

Justin watched from the sidelines. Normally, he would have stepped in to stop this. But not today. His gaze was cold as he watched everything unfold.

What Ryan was doing was precisely what Justin himself wished he could do. If he interfered, Zoe would likely be killed.

Hatred would not cloud his judgment. He would not let his hands get dirty, nor would he let Ryan pay the price.

“Ryan, stop! If she dies, you’ll be in trouble too!” Being a policeman, Ralph had to intervene. “Do you want to be separated from Carrie forever?!”

Ryan’s eyes were wild with rage. He roughly pushed away Ralph’s hand, grabbed Zoe’s hair, and yanked her limp body off the ground.

“Where is Carrie? Tell me where she is!” Ryan demanded.

“I… Don’t... Know…” Zoe muttered, her mouth full of blood, still trying to hide the truth. “Ryan... It wasn’t me…”

“Zoe, are you still trying to lie right now?” Ryan spat in disgust.
