The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1829

Matt’s call came through.

Justin said, “Uncle Matt, what’s up?”

“Young Master Justin, can you talk now?” Matt’s words flickered.

“Please go ahead.”

“This morning, Chairman Salvador came to bring Ms. Carrie back to Tideview Manor.”

Justin’s gaze darkened. “Isn’t Grandpa planning to spend some more time with Carrie? Why so soon?”

“After Chairman Salvador came, he went to the study with Old Master Nigel, and they ended up fighting over something.”

Matt’s tone was laced with worry, “Ms. Carrie naturally heard it. She had always been the most obedient child, so since Chairman Salvador wanted to take her back, she agreed without question. I’m just a secretary, and it’s not my place to interfere too much. When you return at night, please pay more attention to Ms. Carrie.”

Justin sensed the underlying message in his words and asked solemnly, “Did you hear why Chairman Salvador fought with Grandpa?”

“It seems to be about Ms. Carrie’s marriage. Chairman Salvador and Old Master Nigel might have different opinions, which led to the argument. But I’m not sure about the specifics.”

Justin abruptly stood up from his leather chair, his handsome face stern and cold. “Got it. Rest assured, I’ll protect Carrie.”

……

Carrie returned to Tideview Manor.

Shannon was gone. Carrie heard from the maids that Bethany would be sent abroad. Justin rarely returned, as he preferred to stay with his wife every day.

The large villa was grand but empty. It had become a golden cage that imprisoned her.

Carrie cuddled her teddy, sat on the sofa in the living room, and closed her eyes in exhaustion.

Carrie had long learned from Bella and Justin about everything Bethany had done to her.

She could not forgive this so-called sister of hers and did not want anything more to do with Bethany. So she lowered her head, hugging her teddy as she tried to leave without a word.

“Stop!”

Bethany suddenly roared, her voice sharp and hoarse, ten times louder than usual.

Carrie’s footsteps halted. She raised her head to look into Bethany’s twisted face, which was filled with hatred.

But this time, Carrie did not step back timidly. Instead, she had the courage to face this evil woman who had bullied her for too many years.

“Ha… Did you know I am deaf now, so you don’t even bother to greet me?” Bethany was like an exhausted and angry mule just done with her work, panting heavily. Her eyes were red with resentment. “Idiot, dumbass… Bitch! Because of you, Grandpa and Dad don’t want me anymore! I am chased out of the Salvador family... Justin also ruined my ears! It’s all thanks to you, you fucking bitch! I hate you!”
