James staggered back in fright at Ralph’s presence.

Four police officers in plain clothes barged in and stood behind Ralph, forming an impenetrable wall.

Christopher’s heart sank at the abrupt presence of cops, and he stared grimacing at Justin, who remained composed.

Meeting Christopher’s gaze, Justin narrowed his eyes.

Sparks flew as tension rose to an all-time high.

Since Christopher was out for trouble, Justin did not mind helping him blow the whole thing out of proportion.

Carrie’s eyes sparkled, as she had not seen Ralph in a while. She raised her hand to say hello.

“Ral—”

Suddenly, she felt a weight on her shoulder.

Carrie looked up and stared at Ryan’s tensed jawline. With her chest tightening, she dropped her hand and kept her head down and away from Ralph.

“W-What do you want?” James quaked in his boots.

“James Iverson, you are arrested for bribery, fund embezzlement, and rape. This is a warrant for your arrest.”

Ralph handed James a piece of paper with a straight face. “This is your arrest warrant. Do you understand your rights?”

“I don’t get it!” James felt his world crumbling. “Why are you telling me this? What proof do you have?”

While working in the police force, Ralph witnessed his fair share of the dark side of humanity.

“That isn’t me. That isn’t me in the video.”

Sure enough, James would not give it up. “The video is fake! That isn’t me in the video.”

“If that isn’t you, who is it then?”

Coral, who had kept her silence thus far, walked to the center and stared at James with resentment. “These videos were copied from your computer in the study. You must have guessed by now that the police confiscated your computer. This is incriminating evidence.”

James realized he had been duped by the one closest to him.

Coral behaved unusually the other night, seducing him to intimacy in the study. It was all a setup.

She would not have the brain and guts to do so, unless...
