Corinne smacked her lips and said, “There is a cake I made for myself in the refrigerator at home. Could you please ask Tommy to get it for me? I’m craving it a little right now.”
Jeremy’s expression turned cold. “Is that it?”
Corinne nodded. “Yeah. That’s it.”
Jeremy’s complexion did not seem too pleased, but he gazed deeply at her and said, “If there’s anything you want to ask, you can ask now. I’ll tell you everything.”
“Nope.” Corinne looked out the window at the sky and yawned tiredly to avoid looking at the man.
She had nothing to ask, and since she was not his true wife, would be annoying if she asked too many questions.

Jeremy frowned, and the gentle arc of the corner of his lips froze within seconds.
She was probably number one in the world when it came to ruining the mood.
The man sighed helplessly and tucked the lock of hair behind her ear. “Don’t worry. I won’t let you die.”
Corinne was startled by what he did and turned her face away before closing her eyes. She then muttered to herself, “Yeah, you won’t let me die…” ‘At least within these three months, you won’t.‘

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
