Fredric replied, “You’re my kids, how could I not want you? I’ll come to see you often.”

Beverley quickly pulled Nina aside, “Fredric, we’re here to have fun, not to dwell on these unpleasant matters. You’re upsetting the children.”

Aurelia sighed inwardly, “Divorce always hurts the children the most.”
