She was just about to head back inside when her phone started buzzing. Glancing at the screen, she saw it was her mom.

“I’m outside with Elijah, just about to head home. What’s up?”

“Well, you’d better hurry back! There’s big news over here—something worth celebrating.”

Aurora paused, raising her brows. “Celebrating? Don’t tell me—did my brother finally propose?”

That was honestly the only kind of news she could imagine her mom calling her about. She doubted it was anything to do with The Lopez Corporation landing another big contract—work stuff just wasn’t her thing.

Dorothy chuckled. “You’re half right! Felicity’s pregnant. So now your brother really needs to get his act together and set a date.”

Aurora’s eyes went wide. “Wait, seriously? Felicity’s pregnant? Did she see the doctor yet?”

“She did. The doctor confirmed it, and that’s when she told me.”

“That’s amazing! Felicity can finally stop stressing over it.”
