“I've taken a leave. It's okay.”

She frowned and stepped back. “You don’t need to do this. Go do your thing. Please give your friends a thank you from me. The messages they retrieved are very crucial for me. I'm grateful enough, so I can't accept any more help from you.”

“But you're alone, and who knows how many people are behind Heather planning this? Can you fight them on your own?”

Dorothy was at a loss for words.
