Chapter 21
The two people waiting outside the emergency room looked a bit nervous, with their minds in a jumble.
They had originally planned to distance themselves from Janet, but now she has suffered such a serious injury for her own sake.
“Anthony, Mateo, guess what I just saw on the surveillance footage? Anthony, who arrived late, looked incredulous.”
“What? The two of them looked up at him simultaneously.”
“This car accident was premeditated!”
“Who is it? The two of them, upon realizing that Janet was lying in a pool of blood, all their dissatisfaction towards her disappeared completely, leaving only heartache in their hearts now.”
“The driver ran away and has not been caught yet. However, the bodyguard found the driver’s phone at the scene, and there was a message sent to Emma. Take a look for yourselves.”
The two of them stared at the familiar string of numbers. “Don’t worry, Ms. Dalton, I will definitely take care of it. Remember, a promise is a promise.”
“Emma? Isaac stood frozen in place, unable to say anything other than Emma’s name.”
“No way, this must be fake.”
Mateo angrily threw his phone out, as if avoiding it would make it go

away.
“I don’t believe it either, so I’m planning to ask Emma. Are you coming with me? Anthony couldn’t believe that Emma would do this to them.”
“Go!”
Just as the three of them were about to go find Emma, they saw the door of the operating room open and Janet being pushed out.
“The patient is not in serious condition, just rest well. After saying that, the doctor left.”
Three people looked at Janet lying on the hospital bed, her face pale, with hearts full of pity.
Perhaps because the anesthesia was not administered heavily, Janet slowly opened her eyes.
She looked at the three people surrounding her, a slight smile playing at the corner of her mouth, her eyes forming crescent shapes.
“Great, you are all okay.”
All three of them were suddenly alert. Seeing her in such a state, still caring about them, only strengthened their resolve to seek justice for her.
“Janet, you rest up first. We found something related to Emma at the scene and we are planning to ask her about it.”
“Ms. Dalton? She seemed puzzled as to why she was being associated with Emma, her eyes filled with confusion.”
“This car accident could have been planned by Emma.”
