Lance was dead?

The news came as a shock to him.

“Yes, he died by Tobias’ hand,” Sky said.

As he said that, he exuded a terrifying aura that shattered the windows of the convoys behind him. Even the Phantom Army was sent flying and collapsed to the ground.

James deflected the aura in time and prevented the convoy behind him from destruction. Staring at Sky in disbelief, a chill ran down his spine.

He had never fought against Sky. He had only heard of him. Sky was a member of Lance’s Elite Four a hundred years ago. As the leader of the Elite Four, it was only because of him that Lance managed to secure his position as the King.

Sky exuded a powerful aura that suppressed even James’. Slowly, he staggered backward. He was lost in thought.

All of Sol was within Sky’s control. It would be nigh impossible for him to tussle for political authority with Sky if he insisted on holding on to power. Now, however, Sky voluntarily handed control of Sol to James. His only condition to James was this: head to the West with him and conquer the Vampire Clan’s headquarters.

“What does the Vampire Clan have for him to willingly give up everything?”

James could not figure this out.
