Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 943

Scarlett watched as Chris walked through the security checkpoint. Not until he disappeared from view did she turn around to leave the airport.

She had just gotten into her car when her cellphone vibrated in her handbag.

It was a message from Chris, which said that he had boarded the plane.

Scarlett gave a smile, texted him back" Have a safe trip", then put down her cellphone, started her car and set off to return to her company.

On the third day after Chris's departure, Frank told Scarlett that a girl surnamed Lee wanted to see her.

Scarlett gave it some thought. "Her surname's Lee?"

In Juanton City there weren't many people bearing that surname, and Scarlett only knew a couple of them, but she had hardly had any dealings with any of them, and she certainly had never met any of them in private.

The only girl surnamed Lee that Scarlett could think of was Camille Lee who should be in Bomsville right now.

Scarlett collected her thoughts and smiled, "Bring her to my office."

She would soon know if the visitor was Camille.

Frank said "Alright" with a nod and then went downstairs to lead the way for the visitor.

Soon Frank brought the visitor upstairs. " Ms. Reed, this is Ms. Lee."

Scarlett’s lips curved in a smile as she saw Camille standing beside Frank. "Ms. Lee, long time no see."

On hearing Scarlett’s words, Frank came to know that the two of them had met before.

Scarlett glanced at Frank. "Secretary Lewis, would you be so kind as to bring us two glasses of juice?"

Frank took the hint, inclined his head and left.

Scarlett rose from her office chair and walked up to Camille. "Ms. Lee, have a seat."

"Ms. Lee, I appreciate your kind offer, but mediocre as I am, I think I'm more than capable enough to watch over a company properly. Besides, I'm not the kind of woman who would give up my boyfriend just because another girl asks me to."

Scarlett had hardly finished speaking when Frank walked inside with two glasses of juice. Scarlett directly looked at Frank and said blandly, "Secretary Lewis, do me a favor and show Ms. Lee out."

With that she rose to her feet and walked back to her seat.

Frank glanced at Camille, caught on, hurriedly put down the two glasses of juice and walked to Camille’s side. "Ms. Lee, this way, please."

Camille hadn't bargained on Scarlett rejecting her so flatly. Her face instantly hardened. She stood up and, looking at Scarlett, snorted, "Just you wait, Scarlett. Someday you'll find yourself in desperate need of my help!"

Scarlett lifted her head to look at Camille and smiled unhurriedly, "Oh, then I hope that day will come soon. I'm not a very patient person."

Camille’s face went dark with rage at Scarlett's words. She clenched her teeth, seemingly having something else to say, but after a glance at Frank who was standing on the side, she took it lying down.

Camille shot Scarlett one last dark glance before she stormed out of the office with gritted teeth.
