Seeing Scarlett come out, Katherine consciously ended the conversation.
Scarlett turned around to smile at
Raymond, who walked out, "Did you work it out?"
Raymond nodded and took Scarlett's hand, "Let's go back."
"Okay." Scarlett said with a smile.
It was nearly twelve o'clock by this time.
Both Frank and Katherine had come here with their assistants, so it was okay to leave the rest things to them.
Raymond glanced at Frank, "You and Secretary Lawrence are in charge of this matter. I don't want any compensation. Just send him to jail. The longer, the better.
Frank nodded, "Got it, Mr. Shaw."
Scarlett looked at Katherine, "Thank you, Katherine."
Scarlett hurriedly shook her head, "You’re welcome, Ms. Reed. It's too late. You and Mr. Shaw should go back now. I will discuss the rest things with Secretary Lewis."
Katherine was Scarlett's right hand, and Frank was Raymond's right hand. Scarlett felt that it would be a great success to leave this matter to them.
"Okay." Scarlett nodded and followed Raymond to the car.
Raymond drove on the road slowly. It was almost twelve o'clock in the midnight.
There was little traffic on the road.
Scarlett was a little sleepy and yawned.
Raymond glanced at her, "Are you sleepy?"
Scarlett said quietly, "Yes."
Saying that, she paused and continued, " Did Ryker try to set you up just now?"
"Yes."
There was a red light in front of them.
Raymond stopped the car, turned his head to look at Scarlett, and told her what had happened just now.
It was already twenty past twelve when they returned to the villa. Fortunately, Scarlett was not injured. Since she had always gone to bed early, she went straight to sleep after taking a shower.
When Raymond came out of the shower, he saw that Scarlett had already fallen asleep, so he walked over quietly and tucked her in.
Everything went well this evening and Scarlett was fine.
They were lucky today because Ryker had not gone mad.
He wouldn’t allow Scarlett to do such a thing anymore in the future.
Before the police came, he had been in the car at a distance. His heart seemed to be hanging on a string. Whenever something happened in the warehouse, his heart went up and down. He was so worried about Scarlett.
When Scarlett moved slightly in bed, Raymond came back to his senses, went to bed carefully, and took Scarlett into his arms. It was not until he held Scarlett tightly that he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
When they woke up the next day, it was almost eight o'clock.
Scarlett moved her body and found that Raymond was rarely in bed.
She turned around, looked at the small beard on his chin, and stroked it gently, " Good morning." "Good morning."
