"Cousin?"
Raymond suddenly sneered when he heard this.
He looked around the room and saw a few bottles of wine on the wine cabinet not far away. Raymond walked over and took a red wine, after which he turned around and planned to hit Harold with the wine.
"Raymond!"
Harold was so frightened that he quickly raised his hand to protect his head. With a sound of "bang", the wine bottle broke.
Actually, Raymond didn’t direct the wine bottle at Harold, but at the wall.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Harold wiped his face that was splashed with red wine. When he looked up at Raymond, he froze." Ray, calm down! Please! Murder is against the law!"
Raymond now directed the broken wine bottle at Harold, on which the jagged edge was so sharp that it was like a knife facing Harold.
Harold's face turned pale all of a sudden. He was so terrified that his legs turned to jelly, and then he fell to the ground. "I, I didn't do anything! Don't be impulsive! I was just scaring Scarlett! Ray, Ray, I'm your cousin anyway. Don't be impulsive. Killing me won't do you any good! You have a bright future. Don’t ruin yourself for a scum like me!"
Harold was really scared, as Raymond's expression was so serious that he seemed likely to kill Harold.
Raymond grabbed Harold's collar with one hand and pressed the jagged edge against Harold's neck. "I warned you not to harm Scarlett."
"Yes, yes! It's my fault! It's my fault! Ray, I know I'm wrong. I’m wrong! But I didn't do anything! Really! If you don't believe me, ask Scarlett!”
Harold probably felt that it was useless to talk to Raymond, so he turned his eyes to Scarlett again. "Scarlett, I apologize to you! I'm sorry! I really didn't touch you! Please let him take the glass away! Murder is against the law!"
Scarlett glanced at Harold and then took Raymond's hand. "Throw away the bottle. Don't hurt yourself." Afraid that Scarlett would get injured, Raymond threw the wine bottle away.
As expected, Harold howled as soon as half of the water was poured onto him.
He wanted to dodge the water, but Raymond prevented him by kicking.
Scarlett poured out the hot water unhurriedly, and Harold was in such a great pain that his tears came out. With the medicine working, his eyes turned a little scary red.
Scarlett put the kettle back on the table and looked down at Harold who curled up in discomfort. "I won’t spare you next time.”
Then she said to Raymond, "Let's leave." Raymond's expression softened when he looked at her. They two stepped out of the room.
Harold curled up on the ground, watching them leave. He gritted his teeth, but didn't dare do anything.
He really regretted having planned to harm Scarlett, as Scarlett and Raymond were so scary and ruthless.
