Raymond's face turned gloomy. He said, "I see."
Tiffany was involved in this matter. It was hardly surprising that Larry, who had never liked him, made him a phone call.
Getting out of the shower, Scarlet saw Raymond was on the phone. She raised her eyebrows and then went downstairs.
Raymond just got off the call as she brought up two glasses of water.
She handed him the glass and asked him with a smile, "It was a long call "
Raymond gave her a look and briefly repeated to her what Larry told him. "I've let Secretary Lewis deal with it." Tiffany had something to do with it, which meant Jean must be involved in it. Or rather, Ryker was certainly implicated in this matter.
On the surface, they were aimed at Scarlet. In fact, Raymond was the one whom they were aimed at.
Scarlet said with a raised eyebrow, "It seems that Ryker has been sent over the edge this time."
How dare they put their hand to Scarlet! Had the Tank family been too quiet in recent years?
Or did Ryker think the Tank family would not help Scarlet who just made herself known to the Tank family not long ago?
Raymond raised his head and drank the water in the glass. "I'm gonna take a shower."
"Okay."
Early the next morning, Scarlet got a call from Katherine when she finished washing.
It had been a long time since Katherine called her last time. Scarlet immediately thought of what Raymond told her last night.
"Katherine, good morning.”
"Good morning, Ms. Reed."
Scarlet just felt so funny when she heard about it. "Just leave it alone."
'You cannot falsify the truth, nor verify lies '
As before, Kyleigh called white to black just for money.
She was just an old woman from the countryside. Scarlet got her wrapped around her finger the last time. This time, it was as easy as raising her hand to teach her a lesson.
The reason why Scarlet did not let Katherine get involved in the matter was that she wanted to know Ryker's reaction.
'He must be very happy now.'
■Well, just let him be happy for a few days. I will give him an illusion. It will be interesting to see him falling from the top '
