Scarlett curved her lips. After handing the documents to Katherine, she picked up her phone and checked the message.
Unsurprisingly, it was about Raymond. " Lettie, I heard something today. They said Raymond is not a Shaw family child. Is this true?"
"There is no absolute proof that Raymond is not Zacharie's son."
Alexis replied with an emoji after a minute. "Then it's not true. That's good. Otherwise, he would be unworthy of you."
Scarlett gave a wry smile. "Don't talk nonsense."
She thought for a while and added, "Do not
believe and spread rumors. I'm going to eat something."
Scarlett closed the chat page and got up, intending to go out for a meal.
The news that Raymond was not Zacharie’s son had just been released by Ryker. Scarlett received many messages of concern.
There was a dinner party in the evening. Both Scarlett and Raymond were invited.
Scarlett used to be the center of attention when she was with Raymond, but now things were different. Because of the rumor, as soon as the two of them arrived at the party, many people's eyes fell on them.
Of course, the rumor had not been proven yet. The guests were not that stupid.
Raymond was still the president and the
biggest shareholder of Tenton. No one dared to sneer at Raymond.
Raymond also met his rival at the party. Ryker didn't attend such parties after he retired, but he came today and even smilingly greeted Raymond and Scarlett.
Everyone knew Ryker did that on purpose.
Ryker came over this evening to embarrass Raymond.
Raymond coldly glanced at Ryker and took Scarlett away.
Ryker stood there. His face stiffened.
Harold looked at Scarlett's back, being dazzled by her.
Raymond was so lucky. He was surrounded by so many beautiful women.
Harold couldn't wait to drive Raymond out of Tenton. Harold thought he could sleep with Scarlett after taking over Tenton.
Noticing Harold's gaze at Scarlett, Raymond stopped and looked back at Harold. Being startled by Raymond's piercing eyes, Harold averted his eyes.
Harold thought, 'Just wait, Raymond! I'll see how long you can be complacent!'
