Alexander got the answer and smiled, "See you tomorrow then."
"Okay."
After he had hung up, Raymond saw Scarlett, who was next to him, looking at him. He raised his eyebrows, "What's up?"
Scarlett looked at him and smiled, "Has it been a long time since you've hung out with Alexander and other friends?"
"He didn't ask me out."
Alexander used to ask him out before. But by now Alexander seemed to have accepted that Raymond was too busy dating his girlfriend and hadn't called to ask him out for a long time.
Scarlett remembered something she’d seen the other day, "Is Alexander in love?"
Raymond looked a little disgusted and started to say no, but when he saw Scarlett's smile on her face, he suddenly asked, "What’s wrong?"
"I saw Alexander with a girl the other day, but I couldn't see it very clearly at a distance."
It was the second day of Raymond's business trip and she had met Jared for lunch at noon. They came out after lunch and saw Alexander with a girl getting in his car.
"Maybe."
Raymond didn't quite believe that any woman could have a crush on that fool Alexander.
'Of course, if the woman just likes his money, that's a different story.’
Although Alexander was a fool, he could see quite clearly if the woman was a gold digger.
Scarlett just mentioned it casually, and after she noticed that Raymond wasn't aware of it, she stopped asking.
In July, the nights were a little sweltering.
Raymond opened the car door and stood aside to wait for Scarlett to get in the car. Then he walked around to the driver’s seat and got in.
It was nine o'clock when they returned to Scarlett's villa. She took a small watermelon and asked Raymond to cut it.
"I don’t know. It should not be less than thirty million dollars."
He had so many bank cards that it was impossible for him to remember how much money was in each card.
Scarlett handed the card back to him directly, "Then you are taking advantage of me?"
Raymond handed her a piece of watermelon, "How much money does the room for life cost?"
Scarlett looked at him and narrowed her eyes, "I don't provide lifetime service right now."
Raymond saw the satisfaction in her eyes. When his Adam's apple moved, he lowered his head and kissed her.
"Watermelon..."
He reached out his hand to put that piece of watermelon, which was in her hand, on the table and scooped her up.
Scarlett looked at the watermelon on the table and thought that she couldn't eat it tonight.
