Though not as smart as Scarlett, Alexis was not silly. She knew the two men were their competitors.
"No, so we are going down to see if we have missed anything."
After all, Alexis won the best actress award. She pretended to be disappointed and frustrated.
Jensen's friend Stanley glanced at Scarlett. "What do you think, Ms. Reed?"
Scarlett smiled slightly. "I have no idea about it."
Jensen and Stanley looked at each other, knowing that they couldn't get anything from Scarlett and Alexis.
The two groups said goodbye. Scarlett and Alexis went back to the park.
It was already one o'clock. Scarlett felt hungry. She ordered takeout food and ate leisurely with Alexis in a shady corner of the park.
The crew carrying the cameras was silent.
They were also hungry!
After the meal, Scarlett took the three clue cards out.
Alexis drank some water. "Lettie, did you find anything?”
Scarlett tapped her slender index finger on the card. "If I'm right, I think I know where it is."
Alexis almost choked. "Where ... where is it?
"The starting point."
Scarlett smilingly glanced at the few crew members. The crew knew everything about the game. Some of them looked surprised when Scarlett ran her eyes over them.
Scarlett clucked. "Let's go."
Alexis hurriedly got up and followed her. They quickly returned to the small garden where they started the show. Scarlett pointed at the distant flowers. "The scorecard should be there."
Alexis looked at the large pile of flowers. " Really?"
Scarlett raised her eyebrows at her. "Why don't you go and check it out yourself?"
The two of them completed the first task, but because the other guests had not yet finished their tasks, Scarlett and Alexis couldn't leave. Yet they were invited to have afternoon tea in a caravan.
Gradually, the other guests came back.
However, they looked quite different from the beginning. Shaylee and Kasey were in a mess. Their faces and clothes were dirty.
After 5.00 pm, all the guests found their scorecards. They finally finished today's work.
Scarlett had just removed her makeup when Raymond called her.
Hanging up the phone, Scarlett glanced at Alexis. "I'll go first."
Alexis was a celebrity. There were her fans outside. Scarlett was not a public figure. After washing her face and changing clothes, she left quietly. No one stopped her.
As soon as Scarlett walked out of the park, she saw Raymond's Phaeton.
She walked over with a smile.
