That sounded like something Cindy would have done.
Knowing that it had nothing to do with Scarlett, Alexander hung up the phone and called Cindy. Unexpectedly, Cindy scolded him for not helping Scarlett while Scarlett was bullied by the Jones family. Cindy said that it was just a small matter and Alexander shouldn't try to play the peacemaker.
Alexander was dumbfounded. He had to call Stephen. Stephen always indulged his sister. He just replied, "Cindy was so angry that she cried last night."
Alexander was speechless.
He knew that they wouldn’t remove the post.
Alexander called Breanna. "Aunt, it was not posted by Scarlett."
Breanna didn't believe it. "Who else could it be? The recording was made by her! She is so vicious! We said something about her. How could she post it on the Internet? Now everyone in Juanton City is talking about our family! How come Raymond loves such a cruel woman? Stay away from him, or Scarlett won't let you go!"
Alexander's expression changed as he heard this. "The recording was posted by Cindy."
He hesitated for a moment. "You and Libby are going too far. I can’t help you this time."
Alexander hung up the phone. Looking at the lights of the city, he sighed.
He wondered why his pretty and sensible aunt had become like this.
Cindy was right. Scarlett didn't do anything to them. Why did they want to ruin Scarlett?
It was strange.
Alexander couldn't understand it, but Breanna was his aunt. He couldn't scold Breanna as Cindy scolded him.
He was stumped.
After the call, Breanna held her phone in a daze.
It looked like she started Crain Vision and Future Technologies for her friends, Alexis and Justin, but few men could be as bold and decisive as this young woman.
How could Breanna and Libby look down on Scarlett?
Breanna was embarrassed. "I just think Scarlett is such a flirt. When Antony was with her, he even quarreled with me for her. I was unhappy, so I said something about her. I bore no ill will."
Tomas sighed. "Go and apologize to her with Libby. Forget it if you're unwilling."
There were no other ways.
Breanna knew it. She answered reluctantly, "I'll go to Ms. Reed tomorrow to make an apology."
Tomas nodded, rubbing his temples. "We should do something about Libby. She's so capricious. What if she makes trouble after marrying into the Lancelot family?"
Breanna didn't dare to retort. She nodded." Go ahead. I won't stop you."
