Rowan felt sorry for Scarlett. Although he didn’t want Raymond to touch his granddaughter at all, he said in a low voice, "Be gentle. Don't wake her up."
Raymond replied, "Okay."
He then carried Scarlett to the master bedroom around the corner.
Raymond put Scarlett carefully on the bed. He turned on the air conditioner and covered her with a quilt before leaving.
After turning around and walking to the aisle, Raymond saw Rowan standing at the door of his room. Seeing Raymond come out of Scarlett's bedroom, Rowan closed the door and went back to his room.
Rowan was guarding Raymond as if Raymond was a bad guy!
Scarlett woke up and found herself lying in her room. The curtains were drawn, and the room was dark. She didn't know how long she had been asleep.
Her cell phone was not in the room, but there was an electronic clock beside her, which said 3:47 pm.
Scarlett yawned and got up. She went into the bathroom to wash her face and reapply sunscreen before leaving the room.
The yacht was quiet. Everyone seemed to be sleeping. Scarlett walked down the aisle and saw Rowan and Raymond playing chess.
Seeing her coming over, they both looked up at her.
Scarlett also looked at them. She took a cushion from the sofa and sat down between them. "Go on."
She knew she should silently watch them play chess.
Raymond looked at her and then looked down at the chessboard. "Mr. Tank, it is your turn."
Rowan snorted. "I know. I don't have senile dementia."
As he said, he raised his hand and placed a piece.
Kate was a strong woman when she was young, but she was a spoiled woman in front of Rowan. After getting sick, she was very bad-tempered. In order to coax her to take the medicine, Rowan treated her as a
child. He stayed by Kate’s side all day and night for fear that she was unhappy.
Therefore, he did not have time to go fishing.
Nevertheless, he was still willing to spend time with Kate.
Scarlett heard those stories from Larry, so she wanted to take Rowan out to the sea.
Hearing Scarlett's words, Rowan was so happy that he even began to like Raymond. "Okay At your disposal!"
Raymond immediately said, "I’ll ask the captain to drive to the fishing spot."
The fishing spot played an important role in deep-sea fishing.
