When Alexander received Raymond's call, he was shocked that Raymond took the initiative to contact him.
"Hey, Ray, why are you calling me at this time?”
Raymond tugged at his collar and said, "I'm at Noble Club. Come and have a drink with me."
Alexander laughed and said, "Why have you been drinking? Does Scarlett come to her senses and fall in love with someone else? Do you lose your love?"
"Are you coming or not?"
Raymond was not in the mood to joke with him. Alexander’s fucking mouth cannot
utter decent words.
Raymond suddenly felt that he had made a stupid decision to call Alexander to come and drink with him. So Raymond changed his mind and said, "All right! There's no need for you to come."
After saying that, Raymond hung up the call.
Alexander grunted, "I'll go if you ask me. I can't go if you don't want me to. Am I your pet?"
Yuck!
He was not Raymond's pet!
It was rare that Raymond was so upset. As Raymond's best friend, Alexander felt he needed to accompany Raymond.
On the way, Alexander drove almost to the maximum speed in case Raymond had already left when he arrived.
But obviously, he was thinking too much. Raymond was frustrated by what Rowan said tonight. Even if Raymond wanted to see Scarlett, he didn't dare to appear in front of her, because he was afraid that Scarlett would find out that he was in a bad mood. That's why he came to Noble Club.
Alexander parked the car and walked into the Noble Club. They had exclusive private rooms in this club and they knew each other's room numbers.
The door of the room was closed.
Alexander reached out and pushed open the door.
The lights inside were not all on and the light was dim. Raymond was leaning on the sofa.
"Ouch, it hurts! My fingers are going to break!"
Raymond looked at Alexander coldly and then let go of Alexander's hand. "I shouldn't expect to hear you say anything nice."
"Okay, I won't laugh at you anymore. What did Rowan say to you?"
Alexander shook his hand and nonchalantly poured a glass of red wine.
Smelling the wine, Alexander knew it was Raymond’s collected wine, and then he hurriedly took a sip of it.
A bottle of red wine of more than six hundred thousand dollars was much better than a bottle of wine of more than one hundred thousand dollars.
Raymond looked at Alexander and did not want to say anything.
When the room was quiet, Alexander didn’t want to be silent but kept asking Raymond questions.
Raymond felt that he made himself more annoyed by calling Alexander over. Now he only wanted to kick Alexander out of the room.
