Cindy led Scarlett to a small corner. After making sure Raymond didn't follow them, Cindy asked in a low voice, "Scarlett, are you back with Raymond?"
Scarlett glanced at Cindy with a smile. "Do you think I’m not worthy of Raymond?"
"No! He’s the one who is unworthy of you!"
Cindy had thought that Scarlett just liked Raymond, but after the anniversary celebration of Juanton University, Cindy realized how much effort Scarlett had made out of love for Raymond.
Scarlett was cursed viciously as she married Raymond. She came alone to Juanton City, which was far from her
hometown, because of Raymond. Cindy was shocked.
Raymond was good, but in Cindy's opinion, Scarlett deserved someone better.
Hearing this, Scarlett slightly raised her eyebrows. "Is Raymond very ugly?"
Cindy shook her head. "No."
If Raymond were ugly, then ninety-nine percent of the men in this world would be bad-looking.
"Is he incapable?"
Cindy continued to shake her head. "No, I don't think so."
Raymond made his company so prosperous. If he could be more capable, he would become the richest person.
Scarlett took a sip of juice. "Then is he evil?"
"No.”
Cindy did a double-take. She nodded, got up with her juice glass, and gave up her seat.
Scarlett stirred the ice in her juice. She didn’t hear Cindy's voice for several seconds. Feeling it a little strange, Scarlett looked up and saw that the person sitting opposite her was Raymond.
Scarlett froze. "When did you come over? Where is Cindy?"
Raymond stared at her, thinking of what Scarlett said just now. He was touched. " When you asked Cindy why I am unworthy of you."
Hearing this, Scarlett flushed. She drank some juice. Her bright eyes moved. "Aren't you talking with Stephen and the others?"
"There are many guests."
They were about the same age, but Stephen couldn’t just greet them.
