It was nearly seven o’clock when the car drove back to the urban area. It was a bit dark.

After so many things happened, Scarlett didn't want to dine out, so Raymond drove her back to the villa.

"I’m going upstairs to change clothes."

She sweated a lot today. Her clothes were smelly. Raymond watched Scarlett go upstairs, ordered food on the phone, and then went up.

It was completely dark outside. Scarlett changed into a loose long dress. She had just come out of the walk-in closet when she saw Raymond coming over.

She glanced at him and smiled faintly. " What's wrong?"

As soon as she said that, Raymond strode up to her, held her in his arms, and fell onto the bed.

"Ray..."

Scarlett was silenced with a kiss before she knew it.

He gripped her waist hard. Scarlett grunted in pain. "Raymond, you're hurting me!"

The man finally stopped kissing her and looked up.

He was just scared.

Scarlett knew why he suddenly kissed her. As he said sorry, her heart lurched.

"I didn't expect them to be so bold."

They kidnapped her in the parking lot.

Scarlett was afraid until she saw Julie.

Raymond gazed at her bright eyes. He could see the reflection of his face in them. He couldn’t resist bending down and kissing her eyes. After that, he turned over to the side, hugging her with one arm and caressing her head. "How did they take you away?"

Scarlett glanced up at him. "When I came out of the hospital to the parking lot and was ready to get into my car, they suddenly rushed out and dragged me into another car."

Scarlett looked at the hundreds of messages. She was moved and amused. She guessed that if she didn't reply, Alexis would rush over.

Scarlett glanced at Raymond on the bed and replied to Alexis briefly, "I'm just back. I'm fine."

Alexis seemed to be waiting in front of her phone. A few seconds after Scarlett replied, Alexis asked, "Are you hurt? Who took you away? What happened?"

Scarlett concisely told her about the whole incident. Learning that Julie was involved, Alexis was excited. "Oh my! Is she in love with you? Why is she still watching you? Lettie, I think you should think about it! When you married Raymond, she didn't even mess with you like that, right? Now you're divorced. How come she acts like a

psycho trying to get your attention?"

Scarlett was amused by Alexis' wild imagination. "It's a pity that you are not a screenwriter."

"That’s true! If I had enough vocabulary, I would have been a screenwriter."

"Are you sure it’s just a matter of poor vocabulary?"
